I've always been interested in movement and transformation and have many ideas for Kinetic Sculptures.  This spring, in a class on Robotic Arts, I took a step towards creating a piece that is not only kinetic but computer controlled!  This is still in the development process but it is very satisfying to see my pieces activated and transforming on the wall.  The forms were inspired by Chuck Hoberman who created the iris system that I used and built upon to construct these expanding circular creations.
