In creating this series I was thinking about sunrise, sunset, and the sense of calm they bring. This work is about new beginnings, taking time to look at the beauty around us, and finding peace in the middle of chaos.Creating this work in partnership with Wexel Art Frames was a dream project. As we both work with acrylic, it was a perfect match. Since this work is smaller than what I traditionally make and with Wexel producing these compositions as a series, my Sun and Moon pieces are an ideal project for hotel rooms, offices, or any project that would benefit from small multiples.
