In June of 2015, I completed a residency at Shared Space Studio in Michigan. It was a blast! I felt just like I was a kid at camp again.
Throughout my visit I made some great friends (and some adorable cat-shaped bread loafs!) I also showcased my art.
The field outside was as much a part of the art making as the studio. When I arrived I knew I wanted to make a piece to leave there for future residents so I decided to make a hammock! Now anyone can catch some z's in the meadow, getting ready for all of the great times ahead.
