During this month’s East Austin Studio Tour, Vision Gland built The Psychedome, featuring interactive art installations by local artists.
The installation was exhibited in a 3V dome that included connected, maze-like rooms and spaces. The Psychedome was inspired by the human mind and the eight-circuit model of consciousness.
My installation, KaleidoscopiCave, was featured in one of the rooms in the Psychedome. If you have not read my October blog yet, click here to learn all about my installation!
Here is a quick time lapse of The Psychedome construction process.
Thanks to all the volunteers!
My friend and I had fun setting up the food spread at The Pyschedome Party. We played with the idea of surrealism and the overall theme of the event.
The Psychedome was such a fun, engaging event for people of all ages. I had a blast showing The KaleidoscopiCave while getting to work with such wonderful, talented others. Until next time, E.A.S.T!
