In March I went from 80 degree weather to 8!  But no complaints here!  I miss the days of wearing sweaters, watching the snow outside, and being inspired by all of the amazing artists and writers I got to meet at my Vermont Studio Center Residency.  

It was 4 weeks of feeling like I was in college again: working late into the night, listening to lectures by visiting artists, slide shows, readings, dressing up as Rena (see pic above), and more!  

The snow and ice must have triggered something as I was obsessed with growing crystals while I was there, I bought the local grocery out of their borax supply and boiled up some magic over a hot plate.
