NEIGHBORHOOD ARTISTS PARTICIPATE IN CANOPY’S 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY

On June 12th we celebrated Canopy’s one-year birthday along with the Grand Opening of its newest buildings.  I moved my studio Melissa Borrell Design into Canopy when it first opened in February 2013, and it’s been a super exciting year that gets better every day!  I love being part of a community of other like-minded local artists, designers, and makers who are all bursting with inspiration. My studio is a space where I can welcome visitors to see the jewelry, home accessories, sculptures and other projects I’m working on.

I have been living in Austin for four years and am getting known around town for my jewelry, which I sell both online and to museum stores around the country as well as at the Blue Genie Art Bazaar every holiday season.
